Mrs. Erin Adkins is the 8th grade and high school English teacher.  She began teaching this in 2015.  Previously Mrs. Adkins taught a cooking elective beginning in 2010 and worked at FCA as an aide in the elementary school during the 2015-2016 school year.

Mrs. Adkins is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College with a BS in Home Economics and a minor in English.  Previously she worked with Abeka Book as a Customer Service representative and at Schneider Electric Positions as an Order Administrator, Field Services Administrator, and Marketing Analyst.  She is also co-owner with her husband of Tom’s Engine Barn, providing restoration supplies for vintage vehicles.

Mrs. Adkins and her husband Tom have three boys – Gavin, Brody, and Chase all of whom attend FCA.  Originally from Andover, Mrs. Adkins now lives in Bradford where she enjoys cooking, biking, hiking, swimming, beach days, vintage cars, vintage clothing and hats.

The Adkins Family attends Fellowship Bible Church where Mrs. Adkins serves as Kitchen Director and also Women’s Ministries Supporting Director.

Favorite scripture for her is Matthew 5:16.  “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Fun facts about Mrs. Adkins:  1.  Red is her favorite color.  2.  Starbucks and ice-cream are her favorite treats.
