Mrs. Liz Guschov
7th & 8th Grade History, 7th Grade English, Speech

Mrs. Liz Guschov has been teaching seventh grade English and seventh and eighth grade history since 2020.  Since 2015 she has been coordinating the PTO at FCA and been a frequent substitute teacher.  She is a graduate of Boston College with a degree in Elementary Education and UMASS Boston with a Masters in Education.  She taught fifth and sixth grade in the public schools for ten years before leaving to start her family and be home while her children were young.

Mrs. Guschov lives with her husband John in Andover, MA.  They have four children, Katie, Rachel, David, and Hannah who all attend FCA.  She spent most of her childhood in Connecticut with a few years also in Detroit, MI and Evansville, IN.  In her spare time, Mrs. Guschov likes to listen to podcasts and audio books.  She also enjoys cooking, family game and movie nights, volunteering at FCA, Bible studies, and being with friends and family.

The Guschov Family attends Fellowship Bible Church where Mrs. Guschov serves as Nursery co-director.  She is also involved in Women’s Ministries and the Truth for Tots and More for Moms bible study.  She also volunteers at VBS and assists as her husband teaches in Jr. Church.

A verse that was instrumental in her salvation journey is Ephesians 2:8-9,  “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

She is also encouraged by Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
