Mrs. Peggy Desrosiers is the art teacher at FCA.  Beginning her career at FCA in 1993, she has been the K4, K5, Kindergarten Enrichment, 4thgrade History and Science Teacher, and Art teacher to all grades. Mrs. Desrosiers attended the Art Institute in Boston and Burlington Bible Institute from which she has a certificate.  She also has an Associate Degree/Arts and Sciences from Hesser College and has taken many correspondence and other classes.  She was a teacher at Grace Bible School in Dracut, MA and a volunteer Art and substitute teacher at Bethel Christian School in Hudson, NH.  She has also taught workshops, sewing and craft classes and she has attended various art classes.  She teaches private art classes and offers interior design.

Mrs. Desrosiers has three grown and married children, all of whom are FCA alumni.  She is also proud grandmother of five grandchildren.  She lives in Dracut, MA, where she enjoys art – painting and drawing especially pastels, interior design (Color & Cloth is the name of her business), knitting, and fabric arts, sewing, reading, crosswords, crafts, biking, and children’s ministries.  She also loves cooking, history, geography, playing word games, and being at the beach.  She loves color, music, exercising, being outside, eating healthy, and spending time with family, and friends.

Mrs. Desrosiers attends Grace Bible Church in Dracut, MA where she is a Sunday School teacher. She is also involves in children’s ministries, nursery, decorating and designing for church and other miscellaneous ministries.

Mrs. Desrosiers especially enjoys the books of Daniel and Hebrews.  Her favorite Scripture is Isaiah 40:28-31, “Have you not known? Have you not heard?  The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary.  His understanding is unsearchable.  He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.”

Fun facts about Mrs. Desrosiers:

As a young adult, she wanted to be a race car driver!

Most of her family members play instruments and are artists.

Her favorite author is Pearl S. Buck
